Refund Policy

We want you to be able to try Kitaso on your own servers and be confident in your purchase.

30-day money-back guarantee

If you buy a Kitaso license through our website and you are not satisfied for any reason, you can request a full refund within 30 days of your purchase. No questions asked.

This is in addition to any statutory rights you have as a consumer, including the EU right of withdrawal, and it is more generous than the law requires.

How to request a refund

Email us at [email protected] with the email address you used to buy, or the order/receipt number from your purchase confirmation. We will process the refund promptly.

Because our licenses are sold through Paddle (our Merchant of Record), refunds are issued by Paddle to your original payment method. You can also request a refund directly through the link in your Paddle purchase receipt, or via Paddle’s buyer support at paddle.net.

What happens after a refund

When a refund is issued, your license is deactivated and the App returns to the free tier (currently up to two servers). Any monitoring data already stored locally on your Mac stays on your Mac; we never had access to it and a refund does not delete it.

Free tier

The free tier is, as the name suggests, free. There is nothing to refund.

Trials

If a free trial is offered via direct download, no payment is taken during the trial, so no refund applies. You only pay if you choose to purchase a license.

Mac App Store purchases

If you bought Kitaso through the Mac App Store, your purchase is handled by Apple and refunds are governed by Apple’s policies, not ours. Please request a refund through Apple at reportaproblem.apple.com. We are not able to issue refunds for Mac App Store purchases.
